Legal Entity: Private Island Indonesia operates under a legally registered Indonesian Foreign Investment Company (PT PMA) structure, fully compliant with the regulations of the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM).
Tax Registration: We hold a valid Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP – Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak) and are fully compliant with all Indonesian tax regulations as stipulated by the Directorate General of Taxes (Direktorat Jenderal Pajak).
Tourism Licensing: Our operations are licensed under a Tourism Business License (SIUP Pariwisata) issued by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf), authorizing us to act as a tour and travel agent.

Operational Safety & Standards

We implement rigorous safety protocols across all aspects of our service, from transportation to on-island activities.

Aviation Safety: We partner exclusively with air charter operators who hold an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (Ditjen Perhubungan Udara). All flights, including helicopter transfers, are planned in coordination with AirNav Indonesia to ensure safety and efficiency.
Maritime Safety: All vessels used for client transfers and expeditions comply with Indonesian maritime safety standards set by the Directorate General of Sea Transportation. Captains and key crew members hold internationally recognized certifications (e.g., STCW), and vessels are equipped with modern navigation systems, GPS tracking, and SOLAS-grade safety equipment.
Staff & Crew Welfare: All our direct employees and the core staff of our partner islands are registered for national social security (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) and health insurance (BPJS Kesehatan), ensuring their welfare and professional standing.
Quality Management: We are proud to be implementing protocols in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards for quality management to formalize our commitment to consistent, high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement.

Emergency Preparedness & Client Security

We have comprehensive plans in place for any contingency, ensuring the well-being and security of our clients at all times.

Medical Emergency Response: We have a standing agreement with International SOS for medical advice and emergency evacuation (MEDEVAC) coordination. All our islands are equipped with comprehensive first aid kits, defibrillators (AEDs), and staff trained in emergency first response.
Disaster Preparedness: We have detailed protocols for natural events such as earthquakes or tsunamis, developed in consultation with data from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG). This includes clear evacuation routes and communication plans.
Client Privacy & Data Security: We adhere to strict data privacy protocols, ensuring all client information is handled with the utmost confidentiality and stored securely.
